5 Murderabilia
A collage focused on how the media makes money from mass murder, centered around the Virginia Tech killings of April, 2007. C. Goff III edits up various bits from televised news programs and mixes them with edited sound loops from DJ Get Yo Fat On, Fever Spoor, and Yuroun. Posted on Tapegerm (http://www.tapegerm.com/) in April, 2007.
6 Oscar’s Dance Academy Advertisement
A collage incorporating bits of the 2007 Academy Awards television presentation with edits of sound loops created by Virus Factory. Production by C. Goff III. Posted on Tapegerm (http://www.tapegerm.com/) in April, 2007.
7 Rapid Cat Scan (Setting: Buzzpacer)
The pieces of this germ puzzle appropriately were assembled by one quite virally infected, over-medically deflected, catatonically selected, somnambulistically affected, unshaved, and unprotected. Featuring the hotter than fur feline recording duo "Carmelita & Penny". Sound loops provided by Buzzsaw & The Shavings, 8th Day Rebellion, and Hebephrenic. Other noises shedded and shredded by C. Goff III. Editing and production by C. Goff III. Posted on Tapegerm (http://www.tapegerm.com/) in May, 2007.
8 Spawn Of The Harvest Virus
Squeezed between a handkerchief and a sore throat lozenge, this piece attempts to capture in sound the essence of a NyQuil nightmare. C. Goff III produced this using a midi composing tool, the “nnn” from a Mikadams circuit-bent Speak & Spell, a Lawrence, Kansas, thunderstorm, and sound loops from Contagion, Mental Anguish, Hal McGee, GEMAfreie-welten, and The Majestic Twelve. Posted on Tapegerm (http://www.tapegerm.com/) in October, 2007.
9 Zurvival Of The Phitist
A rare remnant from a project that was never finished. C. Goff III alters and adds to noises made by Dave Fuglewicz. All sounds were initially created with Zizzle Zoundz sonic performance units. Recorded in May, 2008.
10 Stimulooper Loopustimer
Created in preparation for sonic interactions at Hal McGee’s 50th Birthday Celebration. Goff plays Hello Kitty Stratocaster, volume/wah pedal, two distortion boxes, loop duplicator, and microcassette player loaded with recordings of odd old 33 RPM vinyls. He mixes these with edited sound loops from David Fuglewicz, M.Nomized, and Michael Thomas Jackson. Posted on Tapegerm (http://www.tapegerm.com/) in January, 2008.
